perfect for baking
I've been making low carb waffles with nut flour, and this hazelnut flour turns out beautifully. It develops a nice toasted flavor in the waffle maker. The raw flour doesn't taste super good - I think it needs to be toasted to taste the way I expect filberts to taste. I made some breakfast porridge with the flour and the flavor was underwhelming. I tried toasting the flour first and it transformed it. The price is good, and it is hard to find unsalted hazelnuts around here at any price.
