Gourmet great tasting freshly roasted and salted almonds. Fresh high quality raw whole shelled almonds. California almonds are subject to pasteurization by law. Currently there are two main methods being used to pasteurize the almonds. One uses steam to sanitize the nuts, while the other uses the chemical propylene oxide, aka PPO, which is considered a possible carcinogen. Most conventional almond growers pasteurize their almonds using PPO. It's Delish raw almonds are proudly steam treated and not PPO treated.

I'm using these for snacking. They are stored in a large airtight on the counter, so they are easy and quick for if a friend craps by. Delish obviously takes great care in preparing these. The almonds' flavor is lightly salted, pleasant and consistent.
